About Myself:
My name is Kimberley Petrie, 23 years young. I currently live in Sydney, Australia (where I have lived all my life). I currently work in retail and as a freelance designer, but I'm working towards a role that will be a lot more challenging and hopefully combine my love and fasination with 'how things work'
As far as hobbies and interests are concerned, I'm a bit electic in that respect. My first and main love is flight, including aircraft and wildlife. Luckily my family shares this love, as our house is littered with fighter jet models and posters. I adore the sea, sailing and I have a big love for aircraft carriers and carrier jets (eg: F-14 Tomcats and FA/18 Hornets). I also love reading about mechanics, science (in particular biology and chemistry), law (copyright and constitutional) and I hold a fascination with traditional Native American, Japanese and Chinese music.
When it comes to inspiration for my art, a lot of it comes from television and media. I'm a big fan of Battlestar Galactica and it was Star Trek: Deep Space Nine that kicked off the whole 'science fiction' fandom for me. I love cartoons as well, and I'm a die hard collector and fan of Transformers and Pokemon.
I also enjoy watching Top Gear, Mythbusters, Inspector Rex and I love a good documentry. Don't be shy, check out my contact information and let's get a conversation started.

The name started about six months ago, on a aviation forum where I stated I'm Techno for Tomcats (like people can be crazy for cocoa puffs) in response to a thread about favourite aircraft. That favourite aircraft being the
F-14B Tomcat. It's stuck ever since.
