How do I pay?
I currently only accept Paypal as a method of payment. All prices are in USD and payment is due on COMPLETION of the artwork only!
Can you give me a price list?
I prefer to quote all commission work on a case by case basis to ensure you recieve the fairest price possible for what you would like me to draw for you. But to make it easier, here is a rough guide to my pricing structure.
Portrait images/Simple character renderings
Prices start at $40.00 and increase depending on detail and subject matter.
Character driven images with backgrounds
Prices start at $60.00 and can progress to over the $100.00 mark depending on subject matter and detail.
Heavily detailed mechanical sketches and 're-designing' a character illustrations
(For example a wolf character being designed to transform into a motorcycle) Prices start at $35.00 for a sketch and colour starts at $75.00. Extra costs for backgrounds and scenery.
If what you have in mind does not fit in these categories, please contact me so we can discuss what would best suit your needs! My rates are based on how long I take to work on a project + deadline (if it applies) I offer cheaper work to those who do not have a fixed date when art is required.
What do I get in a commission?
All my commissions are currently in digital format only; I use Corel Painter XI for all mycurrent work. As a commissioner you will recieve: All sketches and the final approved sketch along with a full resolution lossless file of your commission, which is suitable for print. Currently I am unable to offer a printing service, but I can provide advice if you wish.
As the owner of the commission you are entitled to re-post the artwork, edit it, print it and display it as you see fit. However I do request you do not claim creatorship of the artwork and that I am notified if you wish to mass-print an artwork before beginning a commission.
Regarding approval/changes in the artwork, I will majorly revise/re-sketch an artwork twice at no extra charge. Further edits to a sketch run at $2.00 for a requested major change and once a sketch is approved for colouring I do not perform major edits after that. I will only perform major alterations if it was a mistake on my behalf (wrong colour of a character by a serious margain; ie: coloured fur blue instead of pink). Once an image is approved for colouring; that's it, I don't provide further alterations, due to way I colour! Please be certain of what you approve.
What kind of things can you draw?
Animals, mechanical objects, landscapes, high fantasy, other fantasy, sci-fi, fanart, I am fairly flexible with what I can do. However please be aware that my skills at rendering realistic humans is a bit 'hit and miss' and I may decline a commission if I am not confident in doing an artwork you can be proud of. Gore and violence are A-ok as well as artistic nudity. I am not comfortable with adult themed commissions, but feel free to email me and ask. Please do not be offended if I refuse to take a commission!
